The Containment Scenario Project

A five part intermedia performance series exploring the discourse around climate change through the lens of improvisational music, dance, theater, text, and video. Adapted from the book Containment Scenario: DisLoInter MedTextId entCation: Horse Medicine, the series endeavors to extend the page as an "open text" where each live performance engages the audience in a collaborative reading and writing act. Employing stage direction and choreography, as well as improvisational techniques and the extension of an instrument or body with innovative tools and practice, the performances provide a live, in-the-moment engagement where the ideas emerge, expand, and elaborate through a collective intermedia discourse.
