Containment Scenario: The Global Environmental Crisis
April 6, 2007
MIll College Concert Hall
Oakland, California
Investigating the intersections betweeen nature and technology, humans and the environment, and the often nebulous, yet highly complex inrelational dynamics of cooperation, competition, and imbalance. The Global Environmental Crisis is the first installation in the five-part Containment Scenario series exploring the discourse around the climate crisis. Multi-disciplinary in its approach, The Global Environmental Crisis combines stage direction, choreography, structured improvisation, and is developed in collaboration with the ensemble to navigate across expertise and discipline, as a means of engaging the "inter" or "trans" between or across these points of inquiry — cooperation, competition, and imbalance. The Global Environmental Crisis is adapted from the book: Containment Scenario: DisLoInter MedTextId entCation: Horse Medicine (OBooks, 2009)
